Is Tour de Forsyth an actual race?

It's more of a challenge. From January 1 to April 25, the goal is to complete 59+ miles - walk, run, or bike (where permitted) at Forsyth County Parks with trails or walking paths. A few surprise awards are planned.

Why 59+ miles?

60 miles is the approximate amount of trails and walking paths at all our local parks. Using 60 miles as the goal, we're encouraging everyone to discover all our parks with trails and walking paths. You might even find a new favorite!

Are there any prizes for "winning"?

Technically, no, since the idea is to explore new parks or revisit one you haven't in a long time. Repeat trips are welcomed as well.

This year, we do have some surprise awards, a guided tour of Sawnee Mountain Preserve, some onsite historical information talks/tours, throughout the tour to keep it even more adventurous!

The real prize is healthy downtime in the great outdoors with friends or family or solo too!

Do I have to complete 60 miles to receive a T-shirt?

No. Signing up and paying the $45 registration fee will get you a t-shirt, free sticker AND a $5 discount code to the 2026 Boulderdash.

T-shirt and sticker are mailed to your home - no need for packet pickup days!

How do I get my T-shirt if there's no race day?

We will mail all t-shirts and stickers to the address used on your registration.

When will my T-shirt be mailed to me?

We will mail your t-shirt to you by April 2026.

Are Corporate Challenges allowed?

YES! We encourage local businesses to challenge each other and also team build along the way.

What is the deadline to register?

The last date to register for the 2026 TDF is March 1st, 2026.

I missed the registration cutoff! Can I still register and/or get a t-shirt?
