Whether your child is taking on the full 5K or joining the fun in the one-mile Fun Run, this is an unforgettable experience designed especially for kids and families. From spirited cheer squads to a festive downtown atmosphere, the Triad GO FAR 5K is a race event like no other.

Race Route
Start/Finish: 211 E Commerce Ave, High Point, NC 27262
Starting and finishing at 211 E Commerce Avenue, this downtown High Point route takes runners through the heart of the city and around the familiar streets surrounding the Showplace Courtyard. If you’ve run a GO FAR race here before, this route will feel right at home.
Runners will head out along E Commerce Avenue, passing the Guilford County Courthouse area before looping through stretches of E Green Drive, S Centennial Street, and E Russell Avenue. The course winds through a mix of civic buildings, downtown blocks, and community landmarks, offering a flat, approachable layout that’s great for both seasoned runners and first-time racers.
You’ll enjoy views of the High Point city center, nearby schools, and the energy of the downtown corridor—where volunteers, spectators, and GO FAR spirit line the streets. With clear turns and familiar scenery, this course is designed to keep runners motivated from start to finish.
