Twilight 12K

A Fabulous Friday Night in May!

Take Bands, Bear Tooth, and Beer, sprinkle in a little running or a great walk and we're talking about the best way to get summer going!

Join your families, friends, and your local ravens for the most fun you can have on a First Friday!

Taking place on one of the most unique courses in Anchorage, we close down the A/C St bridge for a scenic lap around Government Hill. Then traverse Downtown Anchorage, the Coastal Trail, Westchester Lagoon, with bands to serenade you along the way!

Finish the night at the Rose Garden with music, satisfy your hunger with Bear Tooth wraps, and wash it all down some Broken Tooth beverage.

You'll get a t-shirt you'll wear for years, Bear Tooth Grub and a refreshing Broken Tooth Beverage at the finish line.

Meet at Skinny Raven Downtown for the start of your event. Both distances start at 8th & H St. Cruise your course and finish at the Rose Garden on the Park Strip for all the post event fun! We will keep you updated on any changes via email and on the Event Page. Check the map on the event page for the course routes.

Step 2: In your Upcoming Events find the Twilight 12K and select "Manage Registration". 

Step 3: You will be brought to your Twilight 12K Registration information page. Here you will select "Add-Ons" in the above menu bar. 

 

Step 4: Then you can purchase a Twilight 12K Trucker Hat. Select 'Continue'.

 

Step 5: You will be taken to the payment screen where you will see your 'Total Amount Due'. Enter your payment information, and select 'Confirm Payment'.

Step 2: In your Upcoming Events find the Twilight 12k and select "Manage Registration". 

 

Step 3: You will be brought to your Twilight 12k Registration information page. Here you will select "Defer Registration" in the above menu bar. 

 

Step 4: Once you are at the Defer Registration page, you will then select "Confirm Deferral".

 

Step 5: Congrats! You have officially deferred your registration to the 2023 Twilight 12K. Once registration for that opens we will be in contact about how to register.

Step 2: In your Upcoming Events find the Twilight 12k and select "Manage Registration". 

 

Step 3: You will be brought to your Twilight 12k Registration information page. Here you will select "Transfer Event" in the above menu bar. 

 

Step 4: Once you are at the Transfer Event page, you will then select "Start Transfer". 

 

Step 5: You will then be brought back to the registration page, and you will proceed through the registration process. If you are transferring to one of the In-Person events, make sure to select the Twilight 12k or the Skinny Mini 6k option. Then you will go through the registration process as you did when you first registered. 

If you are transferring to one of the Virtual events, make sure to select the Virtual Twilight 12k or the Virtual Skinny Mini 6k option. Then you will go through the registration process as you did when you first registered. 

Transferring from the Virtual 12K to the In-Person 12K will be free. You can also transfer from the In-Person to the Virtual event. If you transfer to an event with a higher distance than you will be charged the difference for the event.

Step 6: You will be guided through a new waiver and specific registration questions regarding the In-Person event!

Once you get to the final page you will hit "Complete Registration". After you have selected "Complete Registration" you have successfully transferred your event, CONGRATS!

There are two ways to upload your results! 

You can upload your results Manually:

- Navigate to the Results Page, HERE!
- Select, SUBMIT VIRTUAL RESULTS
- Search for your registration by First & Last Name OR Email & Birth Date
- Select, SUBMIT VIRTUAL RESULTS
- Enter your time manually or by uploading a .TIF or .GPX file.

You can also use the RaceJoy app. This can be downloaded on any mobile device. Here is a link with information about RaceJoy: https://www.racejoy.net/ Race Joy allows you to:

- Automatically track your progress and distance on any course you choose.
- Automatically post your results to the online event results
- Allow your family and friends to track your progress and send you cheers.
- Hear GPS progress alerts and pre-set cheers as you complete along your route

Step 4: Once you are on the Question management page, you will then update all of your question responses and select "Update Responses".

Step 2: In your Upcoming Events find the Twilight 12k and select "Manage Registration". 

 

Step 3: You will be brought to your Twilight 12K Registration information page. Here you will select "Estimated Time" in the above menu bar. 

 

Step 4: Once you are at the Estimated Time page, you will then enter your estimated time and select "Save Changes".

Step 2: In your Upcoming Events find the Twilight 12K and select "Manage Registration". 

 

Step 3: You will be brought to your Twilight 12K Registration information page. Here you will select "Shipping" in the above menu bar.

 

Step 4: You can then enter or update your shipping address, then select 'Update Address'.

Step 3: You will be brought to your Twilight 12K Registration information page. Here you will select "T-Shirt" in the above menu bar. 

 

Step 4: You will then be able to use the drop down menu to update your shirt size, and then you can select CONTINUE. 

 

 

 

- What is a Virtual Event?

A virtual event is a walking/running event that you can complete anytime/anyplace! The best part of a virtual event is convenience you decide what works best for you.

Complete your distance(s)! You can run your favorite route on the trails, in your neighborhood, at the gym, under the morning sunrise or under the late night sunset.

 

- How long do I have to complete my virtual event?

You will have from May 21st – June 4th, 2021 to complete your virtual event.

 

- How long do I have to upload my Results?

You will have from May 21st – June 4th, 2021 to upload your results.

 

- How will I pick up my event packet?

For Virtual Participants you can decide to have your packet mailed to you, or you will be able to pick-up your swag packet at the scheduled bib pickup, which will be on:

June 3, 2021 @ Downtown Skinny Raven Sports, 4:00 PM - 6:30 PM

Virtual Participants can also choose to have their swag packets shipped. You can select a shipping option during the registration process, or you can select a shipping option retroactively by following this How-To Guide.

- Do I need to submit results?

You do not have to submit a time. You can indicate that you completed the run without providing a time.

 

- Do I have a bib?

Each participant will have a bib, physical bibs will be available along with virtual bibs.

For Virtual Participants we will assign bib numbers by May 19th, 2021.

Log into your RunSignup profile and view and/or download your personalized virtual bib. You will also receive a real, paper bib with registration.

 

- Virtual Run Safety Policy

Participants must abide by the Center for Disease Control (CDC)'s recommendations for the prevention of the spread of COVID-19 and attest to having read the CDC's guidance at: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/prepare/prevention.html.  Participants must also follow local, state and federal regulations regarding preventing the spread of COVID-19 for their region. Participants must abide by all pedestrian safety ordinances including running on a sidewalk where available and not in the road.  If there is no sidewalk or multi-use trail is available participants must run against oncoming traffic and not with traffic.
