Father’s Day 5K & 10K Run at Village Shalom
June 21, 2026 — Helzberg Campus for Jewish Living

Kick off Father’s Day weekend by joining Kansas City’s Summer of Champions at Village Shalom! Whether you’re racing for time or walking with family, this beloved tradition celebrates the everyday champions who strengthen our community—fathers, grandfathers, caregivers, residents, and friends.

Choose your distance: 5K Run/Walk, 10K Run/Walk, or the Kid’s Fun Run. All proceeds benefit Village Shalom’s Memory Support Programs, providing compassionate care for residents with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.

 
Registration Fees:

5K Run/Walk
• Through March 22: $29
• March 23 – May 3: $33
• May 4 – June 19: $37
• June 20–21: $40

10K Run/Walk
• Through March 22: $34
• March 23 – May 3: $38
• May 4 – June 19: $42
• June 20–21: $45

Kid’s Fun Run
• Through June 21: $10

Support the Mission:

At checkout, you may also make a charitable gift to help support Village Shalom and honor the legacy of care on the Helzberg Campus. Every contribution strengthens programs for residents facing memory challenges and fuels the champions who care for them each day.

Awards will be given to the Top Male and Female and Top Masters Male and Female finishers in both the 5K and 10K.  Additional awards include:  First, Second, and Third Male and Female in each of the following age groups: 10 and under, 11-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+. Awards will be available at the race after you finish. Awards will not be mailed. 

Packet Pickup Date and Time: Friday, June 19, 2026 3:00pm - 6:00pm at Village Shalom South Entrance off 123rd and Nall

Race Day Packet Pickup: Sunday, June 21, 2026 6:30am - 7:30am at Village Shalom - Parking Lot 6 by Main Entrance.
