Join the Lauren’s Kids foundation and thousands of walkers across the state for the 2026 Walk in My Shoes 1,500-mile trek across Florida. April is National Sexual Assault Awareness Month and National Child Abuse Prevention Month — every step counts in the fight to prevent child sexual abuse and help survivors heal.

Join us for the Final Miles of Walk In My Shoes 2026! Lauren will lead the final three 3 miles of our 1,500 mile walk across the state. We’ll start in Kleman Plaza (306 S Duval St., Tallahassee, FL 32301) and end on South Adams Street in town for a Safety Fair and celebration for all ages!
The Safety Fair is a FREE, family-friendly block party packed with fun! Enjoy hands-on activities, kid-friendly games and giveaways, interactive safety-education booths, and community partners sharing resources. Families can also visit with law enforcement and fire rescue — plus crowd favorites like face painting, a bounce house, snow cones, therapy animals, music, food, and more!
Just like in years past, an UBER code will be provided to walkers to cover the cost of a ride back to any location necessary following the walk or Safety Fair.
