The SwimRVA New Year’s Challenge is back.  This challenge is all about YOU.

• Your distance.
• Your pace.
• Your goal.
• Your challenge.

Whether you’re just getting comfortable swimming laps or you could practically cross the English Channel, you belong in this event.  There’s no first place. No last place.  No pressure to keep up with anyone else.  Just one question:

CAN YOU REACH YOUR GOAL?

THE CHALLENGE 🏊

Pick a goal. Pick your interval. Then start swimming!

The New Year’s Challenge is built around repeating 100-yard swims on a set interval. Your interval gives you enough time to complete each 100, catch your breath and get ready to go again.  Maybe your goal is 3 x 100s.  Maybe it’s 25 x 100s.  Maybe you’re coming for the ultimate challenge: 100 x 100s — 10,000 YARDS!

The number doesn’t define your success.  Reaching YOUR goal does.

Finish 2026 by proving something to yourself — then leave the pool with a new goal waiting for you in 2027.

• Time:  2:00-5:00 PM
• Check-In: 1:00-2:00 PM
• Place:  SwimRVA-CSAC

And as always, we’ll have extra New Year’s SWAG ready for your evening plans so you can ring in 2027 in SwimRVA style! 🥳✨

EARLY BIRD SPECIAL: ONLY $65!

• Register by October 31 -OR- before the first 50 spots are claimed to lock in the $65 rate.

PRICING STRUCTURE

• First 50 registrations OR by Oct 31:  $65
• First 75 registrations OR by Nov 30:  $75
• First 85 registrations OR by Dec 23:  $85
• Register up until the event Dec 31:  $95

FAMILY CHALLENGE

• Register multiple people living in your household and get $10 OFF!!

YOUTH/SENIOR DISCOUNTS

• 0-12 yrs:  $5 DISCOUNT
• 65-99 yrs:  $5 DISCOUNT

When you register, you’ll select the interval you want to swim.  Choose an interval that gives you approximately 15–45 seconds of rest after each 100.  For example, if you comfortably swim 100 yards in 2:00, you might choose the 2:20 or 2:40 interval, depending on how much recovery you want.

Interval Options:  1:30 • 1:40 • 1:50 • 2:00 • 2:20 • 2:40 • 3:00 • 3:30 • 4:00

More of a leisure swimmer? Perfect. Choose 3:30 or 4:00 and enjoy the challenge at your pace.  Not sure which interval is right for you? Select 4:00 when you register, and we’ll help get you into the right group on event day.
