About Altra Trail Fun Run
Celebrate our lovely local trails with a Trail Fun Run with Altra and Fleet Feet Knoxville!

Start Time: 8am
What to expect:
- A designated 3 mile trail route to test your technical skills and have some fun
- Altra shoes on hand to demo before, during or after the event
- Post-run celebration at The Cove with coffee, hydration and camaraderie
- Post-run breakfast burritos for an additional fee
- A lot of support for a new terrain!
This is an untimed event. Registration to join the run is free. This a fun run - we will not have event shirts or medals.
Sunday Morning Info
- 7:00am - Check-in Opens
- 7:45am - Final Instructions Given
- 7:50am - Walk to Trail Start
- 8:00am - Trail Run begins
- 9:00am - Post-run Celebration
Check-In Before the Run
We will be checking everyone in prior to the run start. Find us near the main gazebo at The Cove at Concord Park, beginning at 7:00am.
There are bathrooms near the gazebo at The Cove and we will have water available at check-in.
We will begin giving final instructions around 7:45am, and head to the start of the run at 7:50am. Access to the trails requires a walk across Northshore Dr. at the designated crosswalk.
Demo Shoes from Altra
We will have a limited number of Altra Experience Wild 3 demo shoes available to try during the run. Demo shoes will be handed out on a first come, first serve basis.
Post-Run Celebration
When you finish your run, join us back at The Cove park for hydration and coffee for all and breakfast burritos, for those who opted-in.
Core Physical Therapy will be on-site offering free injury screenings and manual stretching and massage services after the run! Take care of yourself before tackling the rest of the day.
Trail Map
We have a 3 mile route for you all to enjoy. Please note that mileage on the trails can vary from person to person and that conditions might be muddy and slick. The route has some climbing to start and then takes you through a fun descent into a lakeside portion of the trails to finish it up.
You can access the route via Garmin Connect or Strava.
