Anniversary Run 15K

The Anniversary Run 15k is the last race of the Championship Series to commemorate the founding of the Annapolis Striders. Originally run at the end of December at the Naval Academy, it is now held the second weekend of December on the trails of Quiet Waters Park in Annapolis. The race is free for Annapolis Striders members who register before Friday, December 11, 2026. Race Day registration is $25 for everyone.

If you are already registered for the Championship Series, then you do not have to register separately for this race.

The start, finish and awards will take place at the outdoor Sassafras Pavilion.

Volunteers are needed. Please sign up by contacting the race director. Thank You!

Workers runs are provided as a way for club members to both volunteer and maintain their Championship Series or club Ironman standing. Consult the Championship Series rules for details or the race director and Championship Series Coordinator with questions.

Baby joggers or strollers are not safe on this course and are prohibited. This rule will be strictly enforced. Also, no pets are allowed on the course or headsets are to be worn during the race.

All decisions of the race director are final.

The Anniversary Run is a double loop course on paved trails within Quiet Waters Park. A few hills and a winding path through the woods make for an interesting morning. Portions of the paved path contain tree roots, potholes and other natural hazards. There are several wooden bridges on the course that may be slippery. Please use caution on this course, and especially on the bridges.

All participants must maintain at least a 15-minute per mile pace and complete the race by 12:30.

There will be three aid stations featuring water.

The Anne Arundel – Annapolis CERT, First Aid Support Team (FAST) will support this race with First Aid stations.

• Male and Female 1st and 2nd Overall
• 1st Masters Male and Female
• Male and Female in each 10 year age group to be determined according to number of race participants.
