Dedication
"We can't think of a better way to honor Dr. David Jones than to dedicate the Annual Hospice Walk in his memory. He provided dedicated, compassionate care to hospice patients in the county from 2005 until his death in October 2023 as the Hospice Medical Director. He provided medical care for hospice patients at home for several years and then at the Aroostook House of Comfort once it was built. He supported the hospice house wholeheartedly, believing it would make a huge difference in the comfort and care of our loved ones at the end of their lives when they are most vulnerable. He was and remains well-respected for his numerous contributions to healthcare, both by local communities and statewide. He loved all aspects of nature and participated in last year's Walk for Hospice. This year, we walk in his memory to honor his contributions to medicine and his legacy by supporting the Aroostook House of Comfort.” - Debbie Jones
