Catfish Days 5k & 10K Run

JOIN US ON SATURDAY JULY 11th
FOR THE 2026 TREMPEALEAU CATFISH DAYS 5K/10K RACE!
Start Time: 10K @ 8:00am, 5K @ 8:10am!

Enjoy a spectacular run by the river - the race takes runners on a magnificent, scenic route along the mighty Mississippi and into beautiful Perrot Park. On-site registration* and packet pick-up will be available the day of the race 7:00 am - 7:45am.
Race open to all ages and abilities. Complete results will be available online after the run.
*Preregistration is encouraged. Shirts and buttons guaranteed to preregistered participants only.  A limited quantity of T-shirts MAY be available for an additional purchase on the day of the race but this is not guaranteed. On-Site Race Day registration $35 (shirt not included). NO CREDIT CARDS ACCEPTED
Early packet pick-up will be available Friday 5pm - 7pm at The Lane on Main, 11364 Main St, Trempealeau

Race Start/Finish address: Base of the hill at 11321 Main St in Trempealeau, WI

The 10K race will begin at 8:00 am, the 5K race will begin at 8:10am.
Awards: trophy mug for overall male and female finishers in 5k/10k and medals for the next 3 male and female finishers in their age category.
Age Categories: 12 and under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80 and up. :-)

THANK YOU! All proceeds of the race will support the Trempealeau Lions and the wonderful work they do in our community. In addition, this race raises funds for the Girls and Boys G-E-T Cross Country & Track Teams in support of uniforms/equipment as well as fun, team building activities that take place during their season!

FANTASTIC running, racing, walking, cheering and succeeding out there everybody! We had a fantastic day for a race and all of you rocked it. Can't beat a cool, cloudy morning for a very challenging course. Congrats to all of you who medaled, who PR'ed, and all who had a great race and a great time. Thank you for coming out to join us!

What a BEAUTIFUL DAY to race with some beautiful people inside and out! Hope you all enjoyed this cool, sunny morning (were we even IN Wisconsin?!) and a fantastic run on a 'gently' rolling course. :-) We had an awesome time cheering you all on and hope that you enjoyed the day. Thank you so much to our participants, your support keeps this all of this going! Thank you to all of our volunteers out there this morning, to the Trempealeau Lions Club for sponsoring and helping out, and to Inn on the River for the power and use of their speaker system! We couldn't pull this off without you!

I am pretty sure this is the BEST WEATHER we have ever witnessed for this race and THE BEST group of runners, volunteers and cheer squads too!! No seriously, we don't say that to every crowd ;-) Truly it is all of you that make this race fantastic. We hope that you had a great time out on the course and that whatever motivated you to get out of bed early on this beautiful, cool summer day - was a success. We are very grateful that you chose to spend your morning with us and we hope to see you again next year, we could not do this without all of you!

WHAT AN AMAZING SATURDAY MORNING RUN!!  Thank you, thank you for joining us this morning for a beautiful (yes, we'll put it here for posterity) HOT day. Volunteers and runners alike - you were tough, you were strong, you were encouraging and you REPRESENTED!! This is one of the largest fields we have had in years and it was a delight to put together the results. We just kept having to add rows! So very exciting. We saw such amazing participation in every age group. Great running / walking / goal setting / goal reaching / starting over / first starts and repeat offenders (er - participants).  You are simply THE BEST group of runners, volunteers and cheer squads we've ever had!! No seriously, we don't say that to every crowd ;-) Truly it is all of you that make this race fantastic. We hope that you had a great time out on the course and that whatever motivated you to get out of bed early on this beautiful, cool summer day - was a success. As always, we are very grateful that you chose to spend your morning with us, we are always inspired by you, and we hope to see you again next year!

Welcome and thank you for joining us! Below, you will find a few reminders to help you with the morning.

• Race Date/Start Time: Base of Main Street Trempealeau, Saturday July 11th. 10K start at 8:00 AM, 5K start at 8:10 AM weather permitting.
  
  
• Same Day Registration will be held from 7 AM - 7:45 AM. Cost $35 (no shirt), includes Catfish Button. (Shirts MAY be available for additional purchase but not guaranteed)
  
  
• Packet Pick-up available Friday evening (get your button early!) 5 PM - 7 PM at In the Making on Main. 11364 Main Street Trempealeau.
  OR Same Day at the base of Main Street before the start of the race. 7 AM - 7:45. 
  
  
• Course Information - reminder, this is an OPEN COURSE. This means that there is traffic on the roadways, racers must yield to traffic at all times. Except for passing, participants should remain on the LEFT SIDE of the road.
  
  
• Bathrooms: Porta-potties will be available. 
  
  
• Water & Personal Water Bottles: Water in individual cups will be provided at the 5K and 10K turn-arounds. Water and a light snack will be available at the conclusion of the race. We ENCOURAGE YOU to bring your own water bottle to the event. Thank you for understanding.
