About Cause 4paws Gary 5k Hound Pound
When times get hard, pets shouldn't have to suffer—or be surrendered. The Cause 4PawsGary 5K Hound Pound is back with a powerful mission: keeping families and their beloved companions together.
Every year, our Fill the Bowl 5K walk/run transforms community spirit into lifesaving action. We raise critical funds for the Gary Pet Food Pantry, providing emergency pet food assistance to families across Lake County, Indiana who are facing financial hardship. Because pet parents shouldn't have to choose between feeding their families and feeding their furry best friends.
Join us at Wolf Lake Pavilion in Hammond, Indiana for an unforgettable day that goes beyond a typical race. Bring your four-legged friends, connect with fellow pet lovers, capture race-day memories, and be part of something that genuinely changes lives. Together, we're not just running—we're keeping pets in their homes and families intact.
