Christmas 5K/10K/Half Marathon in July - Atlanta

Celebrate the holiday spirit in the middle of summer at the Christmas in July 5K/10K/Half Marathon!  This means Santa is on Vacay!

NEW All-day event! Come on out to New Realm Brewing for a day of live music, DJs, art, games, and a special athlete's menu curated by New Realm Brewing for all racers participating in the 5k, 10k, Half Marathon, and Evening 5k.

NEW Evening run 5k, check in and registration starting at 7:30pm and the run itself starting at 8:30pm (around sunset). All runners participating in the evening 5k will receive a GLOW bag to keep spirits bright and light the way once the sun goes down! 

GLOW bag includes: 2 glow bracelets, 1 glow necklace, 2 glowsticks with hooks to attach to your necklace or bracelets, 1 pair of glow glasses AND a glow cheer stick (foam LED glowstick with 3 different light settings). * While supplies last *

Join us at New Realm Brewing in Atlanta as we run along the Atlanta Belt Line for Christmas in July 5K/10K/Half Marathon/Evening 5k!  This festive race brings all the cheer of the season—without the cold—giving athletes a fun and energetic way to race during the warm summer months.

Whether you’re tackling the 5K, 10K, Half Marathon or Evening 5k, you’ll enjoy a spirited race atmosphere filled with holiday flair, seasonal fun, and motivation from start to finish. Runners and walkers of all levels are welcome to join in the celebration.

All athletes who cross the finish line will receive a custom finisher medal and a spirited, race-themed shirt to commemorate their accomplishment. Awards will be presented to men and women for all three distances to the top finishers in the usual five-year age groups, starting at 10 & Under.

Break out the holiday cheer, lace up your running shoes, and make summer miles merry at the Christmas in July 5K/10K/Half Marathon.

We'll be starting at 7:30 pm, and we'll just be doing a 5K.

Their mission is to engage with Georgia’s breast cancer community to increase access to care and reduce disparities in cancer outcomes.

We're in North Georgia, and there's not much that anyone can call flat & fast...but this one is really close!  The Start & Finish will be right next to New Realm!  You'll head down to Erwin, then come back and up into Piedmont Park.

Water Stations

We will have Self-Serve water stations approximately every 1.5 miles. If you are wanting to run fast and not stop, you might want to bring your own personal hydration.

Pacing

Participants will need to finish with at least a 16 min/mile pace.

Running is more F-U-N together, even if we're far apart! 

Grab your friends, co-workers, neighbors or family and participate as a TEAM.  Your TEAM can be local or across the states; virtual participants will have their shirts shipped!  Teams of 5 or more receive discounts off their registration, discounts below.

• 5+:  $2.50 off
• 11+:  $3.75 off
• 21+:  $5 off
• 51+:  $6.25 off
• 100+:  $7.50 off

Our events are designed to be fun for the entire family. With that in mind; any competitor, spectator, parent, volunteer, or sponsor, exhibiting unsportsmanlike
conduct or interfering with the positive, competitive atmosphere of the event will be asked to leave the venue and course immediately with no refunds and will be disqualified.

All registrations are final. There are no refunds, deferments, or transfers.

Event will take place rain or shine. In the event of extreme weather, we will cancel for the safety of the participants...there are no refunds in this case.

Participants that do not show up to race/event forfeit their right to any swag.

No COVID-19 Refunds.  If unforeseen circumstances arise due to COVID-19, including any Federal or State Health Emergency, refunds will not be provided.  The event will go 100% Virtual & shirts will be shipped to participants.
