COCOA BEACH INTERNATIONAL 5K/10K

SECOND YEAR

Our event will have walking, 5k, 10k  

The start will be at 8 am, in front of  Lori Wilson Park in the city of Cocoa Beach - PAVILLION SOUTH

This event will have the participation of international athletes.

We will be giving trophies for the general category and for the age category.

Everyone will receive in the kit, a bag, t-shirt and upon arrival the medal

SECOND YEAR

 

THE RACE

1.1. The COCOA BEACH BRAZIL INTERNATIONAL Pedestrian Race, hereinafter referred to as the EVENT, will be held on January 17, 2027, in the city of Cocoa Beach in Florida), under any weather condition, with the participation all, duly registered, hereinafter referred to as ATHLETES.

1.2. This event is organized by SBS SPORTS and disputed, in the GENERAL MEN'S AND WOMEN'S GENERAL CATEGORIES, in the distances of:

Mile
5km

10km
Virtual

LIMITED PLACES - 500

1.3. The RACE, whose route will be published on the website http://www.mymaps.com.br will have its START and FINISH point in front of Park Lori Wilson

1.4. The RACE will start at the START: at 8 am

2..1. The registration fee will be:

Walk – $40
5k – $50
10k – $60

2.1.2. In the Category over 70 years old there will be a 50% discount. Need send email.
2.1.3 All registrants will be charged the amount of the service fee of the online registration site.

3- PARTICIPATION KIT

3.1. By registering and paying the respective fee, the ATHLETE is activating his/her participation in the EVENT with the right to access and use all the support infrastructure described in this regulation.
3.2. The Event Participation Kit, linked to the registration fee, is composed of:

Complete kit
a) Chest number of mandatory and non-transferable use;
b) Timing chip (disposable or returnable). Walk will be done without Chip.
c) Medals to all participants
d) T-shirt

And other gifts

4 - SPECIFIC RULES

4.1. The minimum age required to participate in the 10 km is 16 years old,  of the year of the race.

4.2. The minimum age required to participate in the 5 km is 10 years old, completed by December 31 of the year of the race. 

4.3. For participation in the Walking category, age is free. 

4.4. The EVENT will have a maximum duration of: SUNDAY = 2:00 am

4.5. The ATHLETE who is not within the projected time, at any point of the course, may be invited to withdraw from the competition, finishing the race at this point, from which the ORGANIZATION will no longer be responsible for any type of service or support. 

4.6. The ATHLETE must observe the route, and no auxiliary means to achieve any type of advantage is allowed, deviating from the path of most athletes.

4.7. The assistance of third parties, as well as the use of any technological resource without prior written authorization from the ORGANIZATION, is prohibited.

4.8. The ATHLETE assumes at the TIME OF REGISTRATION that he/she is aware of his/her health status and athletic capacity, as well as assumes to be fit and to have trained properly for the EVENT.

5 – VARIOUS CLASSIFICATIONS

5.1. The ATHLETES will be divided into: General Category – male and female (all registered) for the races on Sunday 5 km, 10km, and walk

6 – AWARDS

There will be trophies in the GENERAL AWARDS – 5 KM, 10KM,  – from 1st 3 st place – FEMALE/MALE

AWARDS BY AGE CATEGORY
in the distances 5 KM - 10KM  – from 1st to place, male and female =
14 to 29 years old,
30 to 39 years old,
40 to 49 years old,
50 to 59 years old,
over 60.

6.1. The ATHLETE who completes the EVENT within the maximum time provided, in all categories, will receive a participation medal.

6.2. When provided by the ORGANIZATION in accordance with item 5 of this regulation, the official results will be published on the official website of the EVENT, with the objective of being disclosed within 72 hours after its end.

6.3.. The ATHLETES who are not present at the delivery of the prize to which they were entitled on the day of the EVENT will have a period of up to 3 (three) days to request, through the only official source of contact, which is the "Contact Us" service of the EVENT website: sports_sbs@proeesp.com.br, informing NAME, MAILING ADDRESS AND CATEGORY in which they competed. 

6.4.. If the ATHLETE wishes to send his/her prize as provided for in the item above, he/she may receive it anywhere in the American territory, served by the Post Office, as long as he/she pays the costs of its shipment (shipping, packaging, insurance and others).

7 - FINAL PROVISIONS
7.1. The ORGANIZATION may, at its discretion or according to the needs of the EVENT, include or change this REGULATION, in whole or in part.
7.2. Doubts or omissions in this REGULATION will be resolved by the ORGANIZING Committee in a sovereign manner, and there will be no appeal to these decisions.
