About Conquer the Bluff - The second race in the 2026 Campbell County Running Series

4.2 mile race to Fund Campbell County High School Scholarships

Race will start and end vacant lot on Eagle Bluff Road at the rear of the Eagle Gas and Food Market at 3070 Appalachian Hwy, Jacksboro, TN.

Race packet pickup on day of race 7:15 to 8:15 am.  Race starts at 8:30 am.

A challenging course, here is your chance to say you made it to the top of Eagle Bluff. Starting on Eagle Bluff Road, you will head towards the mountain. In time, you will turn right and take the gravel road and a series of switch backs to the trail that leads to the top of Eagle Bluff. This is where you will turn around after taking a photo overlooking the valley. Head back down the hill to the finish line. You will cover a course just a little over 4 miles and climb 930 feet in elevation. The next time you drive along the four lane and look up at the mountain, you can say, “I conquered the bluff!”

This event is brought to you by the Campbell County High School Relief Fund. A 501(c)(3) organization, our fund’s objective is to raise and accept funds for the benefit of Campbell County High School (CCHS) students. Since 2006, the Fund has awarded 58 college scholarships totaling $80,000. With your participation, this amount will continue to grow.  This May, we will award an additional $13,000 in scholarships.
