⬛ WHEN & WHERE: Saturday, June 27th at Bridger Bowl Ski Area in Bozeman, MT
⬛ START TIME: 9:00 AM
⬛ REGISTRATION: Includes chip timing, a custom race shirt, catered lunch & drink provided by Bridger Bowl, and a chance to win top awards and raffle prizes.
⬛ COURSE: The course is mostly technical, single-track trail with some tall grass sections.
⬛ CUT OFF TIME: This race has a 4-hour cut off time and is not recommended for walkers or hikers.
⬛ AID STATIONS: There are 3 cupless aid stations along the course. You must provide your own cup/hydration system or consider purchasing your own reusable race cup with race registration.
⬛ PACKET PICKUP: Friday, June 26th at Bozeman Running Company from 10AM - 7PM.
⬛ RACE MORNING PICKUP: 8 AM - 8:45 AM at the Jim Bridger Lodge/race start
⬛ PARKING: Available right at the Jim Bridger Lodge
⬛ TRAIL CARE: This is a cupless race and we ask that you help us in keeping the trail clean. Leave No Trace — pack all trash, GU packets and wrappers with you. Stay on all designated trails and follow the race flags. Do not cut trails or switchbacks. Run through mud and snow sections, not around them.

Cross Cut Junior Trail Championship 5 Mile
New for 2026, the Cross Cut Junior Trail Championship is a 5 Mile Race by Bozeman Track Club. The 5 mile course is a two loop course accumulating a total of 1,000 feet on single track and primitive road surface from the base of Bridger Bowl. This is an ideal opportunity for experienced runners ages 12-15 to prove themselves at a regional level.

Course Info
CROSS CUT 20K COURSE
The Cross Cut 20K course runs on technical single-track trail through the Bridger Mountains.
Starting at Jim Bridger Lodge, head up the hill on Coyote Flats, connecting to Pierre’s Return and toward the Schlasman’s lift. Take a right and cross the mountain, looping down and then climbing up Montagne Meadow to finish the course in reverse.
The course is marked heavily with pin flags. If you do not see a pin flag within 50 ft., you are off course. Elevation gain is ~2,400 ft.
There are 3 aid stations along the 20K course — stocked with water, electrolyte drink and gels. There are no cups at the aid stations. You must have your own cup, bottle or vest.
