About Disco PBR
A sprint SUP triathalon located near Echo Lake and Discovery Ski Area on the Echo Lake Trails, comprising of a 10K mountain bike race, 2K Paddleboard race and a 6K foot race to begin and end at Discovery Ski Area.
Required Equipment
Each solo participant must provide their own mountain bike & helmet(does not need to be full suspension) and SUP (stand-up paddle board) including PFD and SUP paddle.
Each Team will also need to supply their own mountain bike and SUP for their respective riders.
Please remember to dress in layers, mornings can be chilly at Discovery Ski Area, but typically warm up nicely.
Footwear is dependent on participants' needs: biker, SUP, runner.
Volunteer staff will transport equipment to and from Echo Lake (exchange location) area to/from Discovery Ski Basin (start/finish location) if participant chooses that option at registration desk upon arrival at Discovery Basin on race day. Participant may choose to transport their own gear if they allow enough time to do so before race, drop off SUP at Echo Lake area by NLT 930 am on race day.
