Calling all superheroes! Join FKSI's 14th Superhero 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, September 19, 2026. Whether your race in-person at Turley Park in Carbondale, Illinois, or complete your 5K virtually from anywhere in the universe, every step helps change lives.

When you participate, you're helping provide food, clothing, shelter, healthcare, education, and opportunities to children and families in Bangladesh, The Gambia, and Southern Illinois. Every registration supports FKSI's mission to support, education and empower those in need.

• Race Start Time: 9:00 AM
• Participation Options: In-Person or Virtual

Registration

• Adults: $25
• Kids (17 & under): $15
• Pre-Register by Monday, September 7 to guarantee your event t-shirt.

Race Packet Pick-Up

• Friday, September 18, 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm at Turley Park (Shipping available for virtual participants)
• Day of Registration opens at 8:00am; t-shirts available while supplies last

I'm raising funds to help provide education, food, clothing, healthcare, shelter, and other basic necessities for children in Southern Illinois, Bangladesh, and The Gambia.

Local Superheroes: Registration opens at 8am on Saturday, September 19th, at the Turley Park Pavilion, 1010 N. Glenview Dr, Carbondale, IL 62901. We'll take off from the starting line at 9am and the Award Ceremony will follow.

Virtual Registrants: You can run/walk anywhere in the galaxy! Run through your neighborhood, on a treadmill, on the beach, or feel free to use the route outlined below to guarantee you're running the 5K distance. Track your time and log your results online by September 19th, 2025.
