About Giants Foundation 5K presented by Quest
The 5K race will begin in the MetLife Sports Complex, continue around the Quest Diagnostics Training Center, and finish in the Giants end zone inside of MetLife Stadium. Participants will enjoy running alongside select Giants Legends, team representatives and fellow Giants Fans, all while supporting The Giants Foundation.
All participants will receive a commemorative Giants 5K performance t-shirt and age group winners will receive custom Giants game balls.

Q: Can I still register?
Yes! Registration will remain open until the start of the event at 9 AM.
Q: What time does the race start?
- The 5K race will start at 9:00 am with waves releasing every 5 minutes to keep the course less congested
- Walkers will start in the last wave at 9:15 AM
- 1-Mile Fun Run at 8:30 am
- 100 Yard Dash at 10:30 am.
Q: Will the race be rained out?
All events will be held rain or shine.
Q: What is the course time limit?
The course limit for the 5K course is 90 minutes. The course limit for the 1-mile Fun Run is 30 minutes.
Q: Can my friends and family attend the event but not run?
Yes, spectators are welcome to attend the event and cheer on their runner or walker. All spectators must enter at the MetLife Gate. Tickets are not required, but all guests are subject to security search. Gates open at 8:00 AM. All spectators are welcome to participate in the post-race festival on the field.
Q: Is there an age minimum for the 5K run?
There is no age minimum for the 5K run. For younger participants, parents are encouraged to run with their child. For younger children, consider registering for the 1-Mile Fun Run (ages 7 & older) or the 100-yard dash (children ages 6 & under).
Q: What is the Giants Foundation 1-Mile Fun Run?
The Giants Foundation 1-Mile Fun Run is a 1-mile timed race for children ages 7 & older. While not required, parents and guardians wishing to run with their child must register with their child at time of registration to participate. Q: What is the Giants Foundation Kids Run?
The Giants Foundation Kids Run is a 100-yard untimed race across the field at MetLife Stadium following the conclusion of the Giants Foundation 5K race. Children will race in age groups, starting with the youngest. To learn more about the Kids 100-Yard Dash please see above or email giants5k@brrm.com.
Q: Where are the start line and finish line located?
The start line is near the northwest corner of Lot F near the flag poles. Look for the large start truss. Runners and walkers will load to the south of the starting truss according to your designated pace. The finish line is located in the Giant’s Endzone on MetLife Stadium field! Q: What is a virtual race?
Virtual races have become more and more common. Register for the virtual race and run your 5K anytime and anywhere. The virtual race gives you an opportunity to still participate in the event if you cannot make the race in person. Your swag (T-Shirt & Medal) will be shipped starting the week before the race. You can submit your times to the virtual results leaderboard between Thursday October 23rd through Saturday November 8th.
Q: Can I run in the 5K or 1-Mile Fun Run with a jogging stroller?
Yes, we do allow strollers on the course. For the safety of other runners, please start near the back of the pack.

No, only service animals are allowed on the course.

Q: When does registration for the Giants Foundation 5K open?
Online registration for the Giants Foundation 5K opens on July 1st and continues through October 26th.

A portion of the net proceeds from the Giants Foundation 5K will benefit the Giants Foundation. The New York Giants Foundation is committed to serving our community and enhancing the quality of life within the areas we live and work.

Q: Will there be post-race activities?
Yes, we will be hosting a post-race festival after the 5K including autographs from Giants Legends, music, activities for kids, and food and beverage items for purchase. All post-race activities are weather permitting.

- All participants can pick up refreshments at the finish line courtesy of Dunkin’.
- Activities for kids of all ages on the plaza and field
- 5K race Awards Ceremony for all age groups
- Be sure to tour the Giants locker room, look for signage near the Giants end zone post-race!
- Take your picture with the Lombardi Trophy on the plaza from 8:00 AM– 11:00 AM.
- After the race, stick around to meet Giants Legends! Tiki Barber will be taking selfies with fans at the Quest tent on the field from 9:00 AM– 10:45 AM. Hakeem Nicks and OJ Anderson will be signing autographs on the plaza from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM.
Q: Where and when do we need to meet on race day?
Important. There is a hard closure of all roads at 8:30 am. Please plan to arrive onsite well prior to that time. The race will start near the flags at the MetLife Gate.
All participants will receive an email by the week of the race with final instructions on what time and where to meet inside of MetLife Stadium to participate in the Kids Run. We will also update this site with that info closer to the race.
Q: What's included in the cost of the registration?
All participants will receive an event t-shirt, goody bag and a racing bib.
Q: Can a friend or family member pick up my race bib and t-shirt for me?
Yes, any friend or family member is allowed to attend packet pickup to pick up your race packet. They will need to share your name and date of birth.

Q. If I register for the race and unable to attend, will I still receive my t-shirt?
Any unclaimed shirts from missing participants will be available to ship by request on a first come, first served basis. To do so, please email giants5k@brrm.com
This race has a no refund policy as stated in the waiver.
Q: Can I switch to a virtual race after I have already registered?
Yes you can switch to the virtual event up until September 30th at Midnight. by signing into your runsignup.com account, select the Giants 5K and change to the virtual option. It will ask a few more questions i.e. verify shipping address to mail the packets.
Q: Can I transfer my registration to someone else?
Yes, you can transfer your registration to another participant anytime before October 22nd at Midnight. There is a $10 fee to transfer your registration to another participant.

How do I register?

Where is my packet?
Your packet will be mailed to you via USPS to the shipping address you designate during your registration. Your shipping information will come to you via an email from Shippo. If you have any packet mailing related questions, please email noreply@goshippo.com Remember to check your spam if this is not an email your system will recognize.
Where will the race begin?
The race will begin at the location you choose to start from! As this race is virtual, you can start and finish your 5k at the location of your choice.
What time does the race start?
The race can be completed at any time, between Thursday October 23rd and Saturday November 8th. You can run, record, and upload your results on the RunSignUp website from Thursday October 23rd through Saturday November 8th.
Where is Packet Pick-up?
Packets will be mailed via USPS to the shipping address you designate during registration. There will not be an in-person packet pick up for the virtual race.
Can I register the day of the event or after?
No, registration for the virtual event closes Saturday October 25, 2025, 11:59:59 EST. We do recommend you register much earlier for a discounted price and make sure your packet ships to you via USPS before the race starts.
Is there an age limit for younger runners?
There is no age limit for runners. T-shirt options include youth sizes, so please make those size selections during your registration.
My T-shirt does not fit; may I exchange it?
We do not offer size exchanges once your race packet has shipped. All size selections need to be made prior to confirming registration.
Is The Giants Foundation Virtual 5K presented by Quest a timed event?
Yes, this race is a self-timed event, however you do not need to submit a time to participate. If you choose to record your time, you can upload those results to the RunSignUp website.

Will there be winners?
There will not be prizes to winners of age groups for the virtual race.
Can someone else pick up my packet?
No, all packets will be mailed via USPS, so please designate a shipping location that you will be able to access your packet from during registration. We utilize standard ground shipping.
