About Give Big Backyard Boogie
The Give Big Backyard Boogie is presented by Bozeman Running Company, supporting local running organizations and clubs in the Gallatin Valley. 100% of registration proceeds (your $20 registration) support the below organizations split evenly among all.
Mission: Bring the Gallatin Valley running community together, rally to raise funds supporting our local running organizations, and increase club and organization awareness to grow the sport and community for all ages and levels.
How it works:
1. Register online here.
2. Fundraise and/or make a donation online starting on Thurs, April 30th at 6pm (Visit our homepage for direct donation links)
3. Show up to MAP Brewing on Fri, May 1st (between 4pm-7pm) for the fun run, grill-out, and to connect with the local clubs and organizations. All Friday event details outlined below.
Local Clubs & Organizations
Bozeman Distance Project: 501(c)3 set up to foster high school athletes in the Gallatin Valley, supporting them in funding extracurricular activities. It partners with local youth cross-country teams and clubs, sending them to competitive meets, providing uniforms, and funding other running-related programs.
Raptor Run Crew: 501(c)3 track and cross country organization supporting Gallatin High School teams.
Bozeman Track Club: 501(c)(3) non-profit organization since 1995, introducing area youth to the lifelong sport of running. BTC operates Cross Country and Track and Field programs that are low cost and welcome to everyone! The club also recently launched a Trail Running program for extra keen athletes. Their skilled coaches and parent volunteers are excited to continue to accommodate the community's growth with a spot for every runner/thrower/jumper! Increasing travel costs to competitions is their number one funding hurdle.
Bozeman Run Club: 501(c)3 free community run group that meets every Saturday morning at rotating locations with a goal to create a safe and supportive space that’s inclusive of all abilities, plus foster appreciation and respect for Bozeman trails.
Women in Ultrarunning (Bozeman MT Chapter): 501(c)(3) non-profit organization designed to help welcome more women into the sport of ultrarunning in a dynamic and inclusive way. Aimed at increasing female involvement in the sport through fostering a supportive community, and providing tools to enhance accessibility to ultrarunning.
Big Sky Wind Drinkers: 501(c)3 supporting runners of all ages and ability levels through fun runs, annual meetings, and scholarships for high school students. BSWD donates money, time, and resources to various non-profit organizations around the Gallatin valley, and strives to create an inclusive, welcoming, fun atmosphere for anyone who wishes to participate.

How it works:
Register for just $20 online and show up on Friday, May 1st starting at 4:00pm to run and connect with local running clubs and organizations. Your $20 registration supports all participating clubs and organizations, and gets you entry into the fun run, access to the grill-out (burgers and drinks), and a chance to win running gear!
Fundraising windows will open for all clubs/organizations on Thursday 4/30 at 6pm and remain open until 5/1 at 6pm, aligning with the Gallatin Valley GIVE BIG event. For all clubs/organizations that are not enrolled on the GiveBig platform this year, the RunSignUp platform will be used to collect donations.
Loop Course:
A short loop (mix of gravel trail and asphalt) marked with cones, starting at MAP and taking you around the pond and onto Glen Lake Rotary Park trails. The looped course will officially open at 4:00pm, but runners may show up at any time between 4pm and 7pm to run! Each loop completed earns you a raffle ticket. The more raffle tickets you earn, the greater your chance at winning up to 5 grand prizes.
Open to all individuals looking to support our local running clubs! Run, walk, or jog at your own pace.
