About Glow Dog Glow 5K
Glow Dog Glow is a vibrant nighttime run supporting the Humane Society of Dickson County, featuring the Meow Mile (say that five times fast!).
On July 11th, we’ll light up Industrial Park, starting at the shelter. The Meow Mile begins at 7:30 PM, followed by the 5K at 8:00. It’s a glowing event for pets, families, and runners (and walkers!) of all experiences.
Please Note: This first year is not chip-timed or certified, but next year we’ll be ready to go official!
Glow Dog Glow 5K Route
The Glow Dog Glow 5K route starts and finishes at the Humane Society of Dickson County, then winds through the nearby industrial park area for a fun, flat evening run. This course gives runners and walkers plenty of room to enjoy the glow-run atmosphere while staying close to the shelter campus.
Meow Mile Route
Meow Mile Route
The Meow Mile is a shorter route option for participants who want the glow-run experience without the full 5K distance. In true cat fashion, the Meow Mile does what it wants and comes in at about 1.5 miles.

Glow Dog Glow is a family-friendly evening glow run benefiting the Humane Society of Dickson County. Local sponsors help cover event costs, create a fun race-night experience, and raise more support for the animals in HSDC’s care.
