Armada Township Park
Come join us for the 8th annual IronMike 5k on August 8th, 2026 to keep the spirit and memory of fallen Marine PFC Michael Giannattasio alive.
The race will start and finish at Armada Township Park.
Park Address is 75250 North Avenue, Armada, 48005.
Race start time is 8:30 am and registration will open at 7:00 am.
All finishers will receive an event t-shirt, finisher award and post race food.
Awards to top overall male and female finishers as well as age group winners.
The event will be hosting a raffle prize drawing, must be present to win.
IronMike 5k proceeds will benefit the IronMikeFoundation in their mission to support educational programs and unique therapies for those with special needs.

5K Run/Walk Route
The 5K Course will start just outside the pavilion and do a section around the ball fields before exiting to Amada Center Road by the Fire Station. Turning left, the course will go to around Armada High School cross Armada Center and pass in front of Krause Elementary School then around Armada Middle School before turning left on Spencer Street. The course will proceed to Prospect, then making consecutive right hand turns on Prospect and then onto Burk. The 5K will then turn right and go around the Academy ending back up on Spencer. Turning left on Spencer you will go back to Armada Center, turn left and head back to the fire station and re-enter the park where you will run the beginning portion back to the finish.
