About 11th Annual Plattsburgh Tour de Force Charity Run and Bike Race
Our event will take place on September 20th 2026. Choose from the 1/2 marathon, 10K run, 5k run, 1 mile walk, or the 50 or 25 mile bike ride.
2026 Race Shirt
Please note if you are registering for this event after August 31st 2026 the only option you will have for a shirt is an XL since we had to order our shirts on September 1st 2026.We will order extra shirts for the event, and once those shirts are gone, you will not be able to get a shirt.
Race Day Timeline
6:30am - Registration check in begins in the building to the left of the bathrooms as you are facing the Lake. look for a volunteer in a orange vest and they will assign you a bib number. If you are running as a group or a family together, make sure you get the bib number that is assigned to you and not a friend or family member.
6:45am - NYS Troopers Snells,Greenes and the family of Border Patrol agent Chris Maland will be arriving with a large motorcade at the Point Au Roche state park beach
7:00am - Opening Ceremony begins lead by our MC Thom Hallock from Mountain Lake PBS. Opening remarks will begin under the large American flag. We will be honoring Troopers Snells, Greenes and border Patrol agent Chris Maland families and their legacy with special guests and dignitaries.
7:45am - The 50 and 25 mile bike ride will begin under the American flag with a NYSP trooper car lead
8:00am - The 1/2 marathon race will begin under the American flag
8:10am - The 10k race will begin under the American flag
8:20am - The 5k race will begin under the American flag
8:25am - The 1 mile walk will begin under the American flag
9:15am - Trophies will be presented to the top finishers of each race
