This is the annual celebration of our running community's achievements at LiveFitArmy Run but also the entire local running community as a whole lot.  Whether you just walked, ran once or ran your first 5K, 10K, Half Marathon or Marathon we are celebrating all the wins of the previous year. With 86% of our community being minorities and 99% of our group members identifying as minorities, we understand the challenges of limited access to affordable, healthy food options. Through running, we are combating obesity and promoting better decision-making and mental wellness. Our approach aims to shift the perception that running is exclusive to certain demographics. We organize inclusive runs through neighborhoods, showcasing the universality of wellness.

Why settle for just 5K or 10K when you can aim for 5K+ and 10K+? We believe in going the extra mile because we refuse to settle for mediocrity.  At LFA we embrace the 1% Better Mentality as a guiding principle in all aspects of our lives, recognizing that every small step forward contributes to monumental growth. With the spirit of athletes fueling our determination, we endeavor for continuous improvement in our running, fitness, personal, and professional endeavors. Together, we strive to unleash our full potential, knowing that the journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step, and every 1% improvement adds up to formidable accomplishments.
 

This is an unsanctioned, untimed race running on sidewalks and streets of Hyde Park and Mattapan, just like we have done every year for the past several years. Please be aware of your surroundings, including cars, traffic stops, uneven roads, and sidewalks. The best way to track your time and pace is through downloading apps such as RunKeeper, MapMyRun, Strava, etc.

Course directions

10K: Follow the RED arrows.
5K + Walk: Follow the GREEN arrows.
Course marshals or cadets will be positioned at every turn to direct runners and walkers.
If your watch or GPS differs from the race-day course markings, please follow the official arrows and course marshals.

Timing:

Pick Up and Pre-Race Snacks begins at 7:30 AM

Pre-Race Announcements and Warm-up begin at 8:30 AM

Race for both 10K and 5K/Walk begins at 9:00 AM Promptly

Event Parking: Please park only in the areas marked in green on the parking map below.

No participant parking is permitted in the main event parking lot.  That lot will be used for event staging, vendors and race operations

When you arrive, please look for LiveFitArmy volunteers, who will be stationed nearby to help direct runners, walkers, families, and guests to the designated parking areas.
