About Mineral Creek Trail Race
The Valdez Race Series is hitting the trails!
We’re so excited to get off the pavement and onto the scenic Mineral Creek Trail. Mark your calendars for July 12th — you won’t want to miss the Mineral Creek Trail Race! We will run 4.7 miles along the banks of Mineral Creek, enjoying the ocean views on Homestead trail and enjoying some amazing miles on the amazing trails Valdez has to offer.
REGISTRATION - Onsite registration will be available. Registration opens at 0915, race start will be at 1030. This event will start and finish at the Ike "Woody" Woodman Recreation Center.
Course Overview
Starting at the Rec center runners will:
Run down West Hanagita
Turn left onto the East dike to Egan Drive
Run down Egan drive and cross onto Homestead road, than onto homestead trail completing an out and back.
Cross back over Egan onto the West Dike until you reach mineral creek road.
Cross the bridge and run the road back onto East Dike.
Return back onto West Hanagita and return to the Rec Center.
