Gather family and friends and head to the stunning Rueter-Hess Reservoir for a 3.1-mile adventure that’s equal parts challenge, celebration, and community fun.
Whether you’re running for a personal record, walking with friends, or racing alongside Dad, this scenic course offers unbeatable views and an unforgettable way to kick off Father’s Day weekend.
Registered 5K participants receive a commemorative item (register by June 7 to guarantee item), a delicious pancake breakfast, and custom race bib. Participants 21+ can redeem a free beer at Two22 Brewery with race bib up to one week after the race. Commemorative Finisher Medals are available for purchase as an "add-on" during registration until June 12.
Extend your stay with a free and convenient post-race day pass (per car), available as an add-on during registration. This pass offers continued access to the premises on race day. The day passes are provided by the car thus, spectators, families and runners traveling together may all participate but once you leave the premises you will not be able to re-enter.
New this year, participants who elect post-race day pass may bring a personal watercraft that must undergo an inspection before going in the water. Rentals will also be available through Surf'SUP rentals. To ensure your post-race stay at the reservoir, remember to add the day pass to your registration and note if you will use a personal watercraft.
The overall male/female finishers, as well as the top three male/female finishers in each of the following divisions of the 5K will be awarded: 12 and under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69 and 70+.
This event is held rain, snow or shine. NO REFUNDS will be issued. Any proceeds from the event will benefit the Town of Parker Scholarship Program, which helps Parker families and/or individuals with limited financial resources participate in Town Recreation programs and facilities.
Packet Pickup: Friday June 19, 3-7pm at RNK Running and Walking. Event-day packet pickup will open at race site starting at 7 a.m.

FAQ
Is the race family friendly?
Yes! Runners/walkers of all levels are welcome. The course is out and back on an unpaved soft-surface path.
Can I pick up my race packet before race day?
Packet pickup is HIGHLY encouraged and will take place on Friday June 19 from 3pm to 7pm at RNK Running and Walking in Parker. You can pick up for friends and family. Pick up on Friday and fast pass race day lines. Event day packet pick up will begin one hour before the start of race.
Are dogs allowed on the course?
Unfortunately, no dogs are allowed on the property for this event. The reservoir is a natural, open area where wildlife is present. Please leave furry friends at home.
Are strollers allowed on the course?
Yes, please start towards the back of the race and always stay on the right to allow runners to pass safely.
If I can’t make the race, can I get a refund?
Unfortunately, all registrations are final no refunds will be issued. You can transfer your race entry to a friend or family member 24 hours prior to the event.
What if it rains on race day do you cancel?
No, the event is held rain, snow or shine!
Can I register on the day of the race?
Yes, registration will remain open until race day and will close at 7am.
Will there be water stations on the course?
Yes, a water station will be located on the course, and water will also be available at the start/finish line.
Where do I park?
Parking is available but limited. We strongly encourage participants carpool due to limited parking spots. There is no street parking.
I got the RH - Day Pass can I bring food and drinks?
Yes, the property is largely rugged and undeveloped. Bring plenty of food and water (no alcohol) with you and use the pack it in, pack it out rule. Please make sure all trash and debris is collected and disposed of properly.
Can I bring my own watercraft?
Yes! Anyone bringing a personal watercraft but will need to undergo an inspection of the craft PRIOR to entering the water. Rentals will be available on site. If you are bringing at watercraft, please indicate during registration and opt in for the Day pass.
