Reindeer Run 5K at ShawneeCraft Brewery

Join this holiday 5K race at ShawneeCraft Brewery and the historic Shawnee Inn and Golf Course for the 4th annual holiday themed race!  

Participants will run over a beautiful bridge onto the historic golf course and enjoy this scenic course which includes cart paths, fairways, and a wooded trail before finishing at the brewery!  

Run Includes:

• Chip-Timed 5K Race starts at 10 AM. 1 Mile Walk starts at 10:05 AM.

• Awards for Top Overall (3 Deep) and Age Groups (3 Deep) under 14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, every 10 yrs.

• One Complimentary Craft Beer at Finish! (Or Soda for <21)

• Fleece Line Custom Beanie and Beer Glass. **Please register by Nov. 22 to guarantee beanie. Many extras are ordered and available while supplies last after Nov. 22.

• Live Music from post race until evening!

• Post race food options for purchase at ShawneeCraft Brewery.

• 1 Mile Non-Timed walk option. Beer glass and Complimentary beer for all! 

• Walkers and children welcome to participate in 5K. Need to be registered for safety on the course. 1 Hour Time Limit. Start at 10:00AM in back of pack of runners. 

•  This course is not stroller or dog friendly.

• Race is Rain, (Light) Snow, or Shine. No refunds or deferrals.

Discounted Room Rates at Shawnee Inn for Participants.  To book at a discounted rate of 10%, please call 1-800-SHAWNEE.  Give them the code "Reindeer".  The discount is valid for Friday and/or Saturday night of the race. The standard 2 night minimum is NOT required.  You may also use the code "REINDEER" if registering on-line at https://www.shawneeinn.com/. 

Packet Pick-Up on Race Day: 8:30 - 9:30 AM inside brewery at the Good Day for a Run table. Please arrive before 9:30 AM to receive bib number and beanie. Race starts at 10AM. Late start is prohibited due to the design of the course.

Following are important race day details for The Reindeer Run at ShawneeCraft 5K

• Date and Time: Dec. 13th at 10am
• Location: ShawneeCraft Brewing Company located at 100 Shawnee Inn Drive, Shawnee on Delaware, PA
• Check-In: 8:30am-9:30am on race day.
• Start Time:
  • The 5K starts at 10am

• Course Notes: Due to unfavorable weather conditions this week, we are altering the course from years past. While we still run onto the beautiful golf course, this year's course will not take you on the fairway grass because of snow and ice. We have added an additional 1 mile of roads to the course to make up for the 1 mile of fairways we are taking out.  The paved golf cart portion will still be a part of the race.  
• Timing and Results: Results are based on Chip Timing. Results will be available immediately on this site by clicking the RESULTS Tab.
• Awards: Top 3 Overall and Age Groups will receive an award. Awards are presented at ShawneeCraft Brewing Company at approx. 11:10am. 
• Ugly Sweater/Best Dressed Competition: Will take place immediately following awards.
• After Party: 
  • 1 Complimentary craft beer - Bar service to remain open all day!
  • Live Music begins at 11am
  • Ugly Sweater/Best Dressed Competition (Top Male and Female Winners)
  • Food Options will be available for purchase after the race at ShawneeCraft Brewery (Pizza etc.)
  • Full Restaurant food options will be available at Gem and Keystone Tavern beginning at 11:30am (Opening Early).  
• Free Downloadable Photos will be emailed by Monday afternoon.

• No dogs or strollers are permitted on the course.
