Register by August 8th to customize your race bib with your callsign, name, nickname, etc. Make your bib a special keepsake.
Inspired by the events that took place on 9-11-01, this will be a time to remember, honor and support the first responders and members of the armed services who protect and serve our community and country every day. Show your support and become part of this memorial event!
Hometown Hero Challenge
Hometown Hero Challenge.
If you are a Fire Officer, Firefighter, EMT or Paramedic, Law Enforcement Officer or Military Member and will be running the 5K in your service gear, please register for the Hometown Hero Challenge. You will be competing for awards in the "regular" 5K age groups with all 5K registrants, Hometown Heroes or regular folks, but we want to be able to recognize you for taking it to the next level, representing your service by running in your gear. Hometown Heroes who register for the Hometown Hero Challenge and run the 5K in their gear will be awarded a special memento at the awards ceremony.
If you are a Firefighter and are would like to represent and run in FULL gear but share the miles with your fellow Firefighters, please register for the Firefighter Relay Team where teams of three in full gear will compete against one another with awards for the fastest three teams. If you register for the Hometown Hero Challenge but later draft two others to join you for the Firefighter Relay Team, no worries, contact the Race Director and we will gladly transfer your registration.

Your Remember the Fallen Memorial 5K Race Swag
- Custom Race Bib that YOU can customize during your registration! Include your nickname, Call Sign, the name everyone knows you by, or other (but please keep it clean). Up to 12 characters, will be all caps. If you don't include something, your first name as shown on your registration will be included on your race bib. Register by August 8th. After that date the bib order is submitted. You'll still get a custom bib but will not be customized with your name.
- Classy race shirt.
Register by August 8th when our order will be placed to have the full selection of sizes. After that date the inventory will be limited and you will only be able to request a shirt if they are still available and only the shirt size that is still "in stock." - Surprise finisher "swag" for each and every finisher.
