Ryan French Memorial Scholarship Fund

Ryan French was a resident of Thompson and a student in the Ag-Ed Program at Killingly High School who sadly passed away in 2017. While at KHS, Ryan was a 3-year Varsity runner in Cross Country, 2-year Varsity runner in Outdoor Track, and ECC All-Star in both sports, and a Scholar Athlete. Ryan had a significant impact on the people around him, both young and old alike. Ryan possessed many good qualities and core values including leadership, motivation, dedication, sportsmanship, and pride in all that he did both on, and off, the track and cross-country trails. The proceeds from this event will be going into the “Ryan French Memorial Scholarship Fund” which provides Scholarships to well deserving Killingly Ag-Ed Seniors going onto higher education.
Since its inception in 2017, the Ryan French Memorial Scholarship Fund has provided $29,500 in Scholarships to 52 Ag-Ed Seniors. We look forward to continuing to award these Scholarships, and honor Ryan’s memory, for many years to come.
