N. Main Street, Eden NY immediately south of the Eden Corn Festival Grounds
RUNS:
Short Course – approx. 2.2 miles. Long Course – approx. 3.8 miles
Both races to start together. After about 3/4 mile, courses will divide.
Both Runners and Walkers are welcome.
A fast, mostly flat and non-technical course, involving several woods trails and much of the Eden HS Cross Country course. Parts of the woods trails may be wet.
Entry Fee
$20 per person, all ages pre-registered.
$25 per person, all ages on Race Day.
In person registration from 5:00 – 6:30pm on Race Day.
After parking, look for the small Registration Tent positioned on a hill backing up to trees, near the far fence line looking back towards the Grover L. Priess (GLP) School.
All entrants to receive a corn-themed memento, plus a coupon for a hot, buttered ear of Eden’s finest Sweet Corn after the race!
Parking
$10 per car, to benefit Eden All Sports Boosters, Inc. This lot is the nearest Festival parking lot to the Race start and finish site. Easy access to your car and the Festival after the race!
Directions
Eden Elementary School: 8289 N. Main St, Eden, NY 14057. Parking lot closest to the race start/finish is directly behind the bus garages, behind this school address. Easy access to your car and Festival after the race.
From the North: Route 62 (Gowanda State Rd.) toward Eden. After crossing long Eden Valley bridge, turn left onto Jennings Rd. Go 1 mile, go right onto Schoolview Rd. Go about 1 mile, passing Eden Jr/Sr High School and Grover L. Priess (GLP) school. Lot entrance is on the right, just before the bus garages.
From the South: Route 62 (Gowanda State Rd) to Eden. Right at Four Corners (East Church St.) After about 1.25 miles, turn left onto Jennings Rd. Travel down the hill .5 miles, turn left onto Schoolview Rd. Go about 1 mile, passing Eden Jr/Sr High School and Grover L. Priess (GLP) school. Lot entrance is on the right, just before the bus garages.
NOTE: You can take Route 62 directly to Schoolview Rd., and turn east. Go 100 yards, lot entrance is on the left, just behind the bus garages. BUT – Rt. 62 near the Festival Grounds may be very busy that evening, so accessing Schoolview Rd. from the other end is recommended.
