Run or walk for a cause! Join us at Regent Bank Center / Spring Creek Trail in Edmond, OK for the 2nd annual Sgt. Bobby Swartz Memorial 5K, honoring the life and legacy of Sgt. Bobby Swartz, an Oklahoma County Deputy who was tragically killed in the line of duty on August 22, 2022.

Why Run?
This 5K isn’t just a race, it’s a chance to remember, honor, and support families of fallen first responders. Strollers are welcome, so bring the whole crew!

Parking & Start/Finish Line: All parking is at Regent Bank Center (west side of I-35)

Overflow parking is available at the surrounding businesses, but is limited. Please plan accordingly.

What Does it Mean to be a USATF Sanctioned Race?
The Sgt. Bobby Swartz Memorial 5K has applied to be sanctioned by USA Track & Field (USATF), the national governing body for track & field, cross country, road running, and race walking.

Here’s what that means for our participants:
🏅 High Standards – USATF sanctioning ensures our race meets the highest standards for organization, fairness, and quality.
📊 Official Results – Your chip-timed results are recognized as official and count toward personal records (PRs).
💪 Eligible for Records – Performances on our course are eligible for record consideration under USATF rules.
🛡️ Safety & Insurance – Sanctioning provides liability coverage and ensures the event follows established safety guidelines.
