About Sherman Lake YMCA Turkey Trot
Join us on Thanksgiving morning for the Sherman Lake YMCA Turkey Trot! This joyous event is a great way to unite as a community, celebrate the holiday with loved ones, and support the Sherman Lake YMCA Outdoor Center. Designed to bring people of all ages and fitness levels together, our scenic route will take participants along our camp trails and paved roads before guiding you to the finish for a celebratory piece of pumpkin pie!
Two distances to choose from - the 2-mile Sweet Potato Shuffle or the 4-mile Turkey Trot. Choose the one that fits your Thanksgiving Day schedule!
Participants are encouraged to wear something fun to show their Thanksgiving/Turkey Trot spirit. It’s a fun event from beginning to end!
The Sherman Lake YMCA Turkey Trot is a fun run event and will not be timed.

Start Date/Time:
All Turkey Trot events begin at 9:00 am.
Parking:
Parking will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis in the field adjacent to the Barn or in the parking lots at Kellogg Hall or the Recreation Center. Volunteers will be on hand to assist you!

Post Race:
Enjoy your pumpkin pie at our post-race refreshment tables in the parking lot adjacent to the Recreation Center!

Sweet Potato Shuffle 2 Mile includes a bib, an official Sherman Lake YMCA Turkey Trot t-shirt, a closed course throughout Sherman Lake YMCA Outdoor Center, and post-race pumpkin pie and refreshments!
$25 - individual registration
Families of 3 or more receive a $5 discount per participant if registered together. Children 5 and under are free.
Turkey Trot 4 Mile includes a bib, an official Sherman Lake YMCA Turkey Trot t-shirt, a closed course throughout Sherman Lake YMCA Outdoor Center, and post-race pumpkin pie and refreshments!
$25 - individual registration

Online registration will remain open until the 9 am start of the Turkey Trot. Register on your phone or computer before arriving.
