Jingle Bell Jog 5K Run/Walk for Alzheimer’s

The Jingle Bell Jog 5K Run/Walk for Alzheimer’s returns for another year of holiday fun with a very important purpose. Participants will enjoy a festive run or walk through the streets of Stanford with plenty of surprises along the way.

Race Day Registration & Packet Pickup
Race-day registration and packet pickup will open at 1:00 PM at:

Stanford Baptist Church – Christian Life Center (CLC)
204 Church St.
Stanford, Kentucky

Please note that the church asks participants not to park in the church parking area before 12:30 PM. Overflow parking is available in nearby lots.

Race Start
The race will begin at 2:30 PM on Main Street.

Please allow yourself plenty of time to pick up your packet, use the restroom, and make your way to the start line before the race begins.

Restrooms
Restrooms will be available:

Inside the Christian Life Center
In porta-potties outside the CLC
On Main Street beside the CASA office near the start line

Presents on the Course
One of the traditions that makes the Jingle Bell Jog special is the chance to pick up a present during the race!

There will be three present locations along the course. Participants may choose a present at any one of these locations.

Please take only one present so that every participant has an opportunity to receive a gift.

Keep your present wrapped until you cross the finish line. Be sure to open the box after you finish, because the gift inside may be different from what the box suggests!

And don’t worry — we promise there’s no Velveeta cheese out there!

Course Treats & Water
Around the halfway point, participants will have the opportunity to grab a cookie and/or candy cane.

There will also be three water stations located along the course.

Awards
Awards will be presented at the Christian Life Center after the final participant finishes.

Post-Race Food & Refreshments
After your 5K, head back to the Christian Life Center and enjoy:

Vegetable soup
Chicken noodle soup
Cookies
Candy canes
Hot chocolate
It’s a great way to warm up, visit with other participants, and enjoy the holiday atmosphere while waiting for the awards ceremony.

Baby Doll Donations
We will once again accept donations of new baby dolls in memory of Karen Wilson and her mission to help ensure every little girl has a doll on Christmas morning.

If you would like to participate, please bring your new baby doll donation to packet pickup.

Supporting the Alzheimer’s Association
The Jingle Bell Jog is a fun holiday tradition with a serious purpose. A minimum of $20 from every participant’s paid entry fee is donated to the Alzheimer’s Association, made possible through the support of our generous sponsors.

Over the years, the Jingle Bell Jog has donated more than $253,000 to the Alzheimer’s Association.
