Hometown Nite Ride

Be a part of our 10th Annual family friendly evening bike ride for all ages starting at the Fairgrounds and touring through the City. Includes a bike rodeo at 7:30 pm & Summer Night Market from 5-9 pm.  

At the event:

--  10+ mile family friendly evening bike ride (also 4 mile Family Ride option) 
--  Finisher Medal for FIRST 200 to sign up!
--  FREE Italian Ice to ALL participants!  
--  FREE Kids’ Bike Helmets (while supplies last) from Loopy Cases.  See details below.
--  Hometown Nite Market, 5-9 PM with artisan vendors, live music, great food & craft drinks.
--  FREE Bike Safety Check from Trek Schererville ($65 value)
--  Bike Rodeo for the kids (12 & under) to test their skills at 7:30 pm.

Event supports NWI No Child Hungry feeding 1,000 local kids in Lake & Porter Co.

Free Bike Helmet Giveaway!
Loopy Cases wants to keep kids safe.  Starting at 5 pm, they will be giving away 100 FREE kids bike helmets on a first-come, first-served basis from their booth at the Hometown Summer Night Market.

Quantities and sizes are limited.  Any kid who misses out on a helmet will be able to get a free reflective slap bracelet and stickers.

Cost:  Adults: $25.  Ages 3-12: $20.  Free entry for kids being pulled in a trailer or with Mom/Dad on back of bike.  Shirts extra cost of $16 thru June 1st.   Helmets, lights & reflective wear strongly encouraged.

Registration/Sign In:  starts at 7:00 pm at Lake Co. Fairgrounds.

The COURSE:  A non-timed 10+ mile ride using the city streets to tour through Crown Point! 4+ mile family ride option.

Timeline: 
5:00 – 9:00 pm – Hometown Nite Market.  FREE bike check ($50 value) & bike decorating station.
5:30 - 8:30 pm - Live music, great food & craft drinks.
7:00 pm -  Cookie Crumbler 1 Miler for kids, families & friends!  Get a giant cookie as your Finisher Medal!
7:30 - 8:30 pm - Sign in for Nite Ride.   FREE bike check offered by Trek Schererville
8:00 pm – “Best Decorated Bike” Contest & National Anthem
8:30p – Nite Ride starts.

Please note:  This event happens rain or shine. No refunds given due to weather or for any other reason.  You can transfer your registration thru June 1st.  Any unclaimed shirts will be sold after the ride starts.
