Lakeshore CAP Door County Food Pantry
The Lakeshore CAP Door County Food Pantry is a non-sectarian, not-for-profit program providing ongoing and emergency healthy food assistance to low- and limited-income households in our community.
- 131 S. Third Avenue, Sturgeon Bay
- Open Tuesdays & Thursdays | 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Food may be picked up once per month, or more often in emergency situations.
We serve Wisconsin residents living at or below 200% of the federal poverty level.
In 2025, the pantry served 6,308 Door County residents and distributed more than 101 tons of food. With rising food, housing, and insurance costs, and uncertainty surrounding FoodShare benefits, the need continues to grow.
Current Needs
Soups, Tuna, Macaroni & Cheese, Rice-A-Roni, Hamburger Helper, Pasta, Crackers,
Cereal, Baked Beans, Canned Chicken, Personal care products. Granola Bars
The pantry receives support through community donations, The Emergency Food
Assistance Program (TEFAP) via the United States Department of Agriculture, and
Feeding America’s Meal Connect Program.
Monetary donations are welcome and allow us to purchase items when supplies run
low. Please designate gifts for the Food Pantry.
Food should not be a privilege.
Food is a basic human need — essential for every individual and family to live
and thrive.
