About The JEF Challenge Obstacle Run
The Challenge is
#1 - Obstacle Course Fun Run
#2 - A Festival
#3 - A Fundraising Drive
Sponsored by the Jordan Education Foundation, all proceeds go directly to classroom grants for local schools in the Jordan School District. Last year, the Foundation raised nearly $400,000 to support our classrooms—and The Challenge Run is a big part of making that happen.
New this year: The school with the highest participation will receive a $1,000 school grant, making it even more fun to rally your community and get involved!
We believe we can make a real difference while having a ton of FUN. The Challenge lets you support education while climbing walls, hurdling barricades, navigating a 130-foot-long, 16-foot-high inflatable obstacle, and slip-sliding down a hill.
Come join us for all this and so much more!

Who?
Everyone! Teachers, students, and community members
This is a great family event. This is not the kind of run that you need to train to participate in. It is challenging but it is not excessive or crazy. In addition, you do not have to do all the obstacles. If you don’t want to run through the mud, climb the leaning walls, or brave any of the other obstacles, simply go around. Our age recommendation is for anyone 8 and up. But we have had kids much younger participate (we even had a father carry his baby in a chest harness). Just make sure a parent is running with younger children.
