About The Kenmore Quad
Join us for the 4th annual Kenmore Quad event, presented by the City of Kenmore! Event takes place Saturday August 22nd from 9am - noon. This unique event takes the traditional triathlon to the next level with an added paddling component (kayak or SUP). Limited watercraft rentals are available while supplies last.
Take on this challenge solo or enlist a group of friends (up to 4 participants in a relay) to enjoy the scenic Kenmore waterfront.
This event is not timed so just relax and have fun in this non-competitive community activity. This year participants will receive a t-shirt included with registration (one shirt per registrant). All participants will also be entered into a drawing for great prizes.
The event components start and end at Log Boom Park and showcase Kenmore's waterfront parks, bike paths, and pedestrian facilities. Course routing subject to change.
- Swim: Log Boom park beach (1/4 mile swim)
- Bike: A gentle ride on the Burke-Gilman and Sammamish River Trail to Wayne Golf Course area and back (6 mile bike)
- Run: One way from Log Boom Park on the Burke-Gilman Trail to Tl'awh-ah-dees Park (1.6 mile run)
- Paddle: One way from Tl'awh-ah-dees Park to Log Boom (1.3 mile paddle)
Event is restricted to 18+.
Course
Swim
- 1/4 mile swim route will start and end at Log Boom Park beach area
- Swimmers will follow a counterclockwise triangular route

Bike
- 6 mile out and back route starts at Log Boom Park and heads out along the Burke-Gilman Trail towards Bothell
- Just past Wayne Golf Course, you will take a left onto the Sammamish River Trail, cross the bridge and loop back onto the Burke-Gilman Trail to return back to Log Boom on the same route


Run
- 1.6 mile one way run starts from Log Boom Park and heads towards Bothell on the Burke-Gilman Trail
- Runners will exit off of the Burke-Gilman near 77th and connect with NE 175th St
- Finish at Tl' awl-ah-dees Park

Paddle
- 1.3 mile one way paddle begins at Tl' awl-ah-dees Park and heads west on the Sammamish River back to Log Boom Park for the finish
