About Trailblazer 5K
Join us for a brand new race on the Firefly Trail in Athens. The Trailblazer 5K starts before the 2026 Ticket to Ride event in Dudley Park. This race will benefit children's programming at the Heard Park Community Center, in the East Athens neighborhood.

Course
The Firefly Trail 5K is a USATF Certified Course. (GA24046WC) and is a Peachtree Qualifying event.This is an out and back along the beautiful Firefly Trail. Start and finish are located in Dudley Park.
Awards
Trailblazer 5K
Overall M/F, Masters M/Fand top three M/F runners in 10 year age groups beginning at 10 and under through 80 and over.
Fun Run
Participation medals will be available to all children 12 and under.
Virtual Option
Run your 3,1 miles anywhere. Submit your finish time by clicking on the RESULTS tab at the top of this page. Submit finish times no later than 12 noon on March 28. To submit a virtual time you must be registered as a virtual runner.
Virtual runners are not eligible for race day awards or t-shirts..
