About Villa Park 5K
Medals will be given to all finishers with additional awards for the top three 5K finishers for each gender in each age group, not to mention the top overall finishers and the final mile sprint!

Hummingbird Home Stretch
The Hummingbird Home Stretch which is the final mile of our USATF certified course.
Timing mats will capture the final mile split for all participants with an award going to the overall male and female who have the fastest final mile.
The final mile includes an 86 foot net drop and is two straight shots, with a 90 degree turn roughly half way.
We expect some fast times and to encourage our fastest runners to go for broke, we are offering $250 each to the male and female winners of the last mile IF they do that mile faster than the following times. Note, only one person per gender will win. If multiple people hit the required time, only the winner will walk away with the cash prize.
Men must break 4:00 in that final mile.
Women must break 4:30 in that final mile.
